Rungrat "Radt" Yaithong
Born: 15 October 1981
Home Town: Lam Thap, Krabi
My name is Rungrat Yaithong but my nickname is "Radt".
I grew up in Christian family in Thailand. Every Sunday I went to
Church but I didn’t have good relationship with God, when
I was young my lifestyle was not different with non- Christian.
I tried to find love, fun, something from friends but, I still felt
empty in my heart even though I’m a Christian (only in the
name).
There is one night when I was listening and the pastor was preaching
at a Christmas party, it struck me so powerfully that night and
I received Jesus at that time. After that I began to learn about
God and had good relationship with him.
After
I graduated from High School I decided to study at Ramkhamhang University
in Bangkok, majoring in Mass Communication and English. When I was
a 2nd year student, I was praying about serving God and he led me
to work with the Outreach Team Department at the YWAM Thailand National
Office in Bangkok.
It was a great experience being a translator for the teams and to
do evangelism in almost every part of Thailand. In doing so, I learned
so many things and God blessed me so much during that time.
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree at the University and
God led me to do DTS at Chiang Mai. During this time of DTS, I learned
lots of new things. I had experience about hearing God’s voice
during Outreach and how God led us to work with people who are victims
of tsunami at the refugee camp.  How
great God is. There are many people that became Christian and sick
people got healed. More than that, he showed me a vision about serving
him in His ministry. I know Him more and I desire to learn more
about Him and He taught me about trusting in him. I’m so thankful
for that.
Now
I have begun a new journey reaching out to the people of my home
province Krabi. I have committed to work here long term and am excited
to see what God is going to do here in the future. I am looking
forward to learning more about serving people like Jesus did because
He is our best example.
Feb 2008 Update
 Greetings from Radt, hope you had great times for the beginning of this year and special time for the month of love. I’m doing well and still in Bangkok now, spending time with my brother and friend’s graduations. I’m having very good time here. My break time in running so fast and now I’m getting ready to go back home and start working again. After recharging battery for my spirit and get more strength through spending times with God. Also with my Leaders and my family here. It was such the times of receiving the prayers and encouragements. I’m so blessed that God gave me wonderful people around me so that made me felt I’m not alone, because we are the one body in Christ. For the last Christmas was very good we had Christmas party at home and this year was very special for the kids. They have received lots of wonderful gifts through the Christmas Sponsorship Program and had so much fun. I believe that they have touched God’s love. Most of the Kids were very happy and they were very opened and desired to learn more about God through bible study. They also shared these blessings to their parents and asked them to come to the Church on Sunday.
 I’m sorry that I didn’t have any picture to show you because my Laptop was damaged and I didn’t back up, so I lost everything, I was so upset for it. Next month we will move the home Church to the new building that we rent (85 $/month) because it’s bigger and nicer than the old building. So when people come to worship the Lord they will feel more comfortable and come closer to God. Please keep me and YWAM Krabi in your prayers.
What will I be doing next?
I will start teaching English for the Children again on March. Also, will do more activities for the kids in my village. On April we will have team from YWAM Bangkok that coming to help us and we would like to do revival in my village so that will bring more people to know the Lord and also to encourage the new believers to increase their faith.

2007 Update
 I'm
so sorry that I haven't written in such a long time. I have become
very busy with the ministry and the many things that are happening
here. However, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Christmas
season is coming soon, so I have to take more time in preparing
for our Christmas program we are doing for the Children. We have
a program for our kids here and I am also helping with the other
churches programs in or area. In the past few months I have learned
so many things from God; I have especially learned how to be a strong
leader and be ready to face every circumstance no matter how difficult
or easy. But the important thing is how we will respond and have
the right attitude with God while He is teaching us as beloved children.
They’re many times I felt weak and always cried out to God,
but I have learned to become stronger and ready to fight for His
people and works. It’s not easy but we can walk through everything
when we have Jesus who is strengthen us (Phil.4:13). In doing this
we can be the one that’s standing to encourage the people
who are weaker to have stronger faith in God.
 I
currently have one staff (American) volunteering with YWAM Krabi
for 2 months. In October I had a Thai team come from Khon Khan and
helped me out greatly. That made me feel that I’m no longer
working alone and God always has good plans for his people. I’m
currently teaching English and leading Sunday school for the kids
at another Church, close to my home. Last month we had baptisms
for 5 new believers from my Church. They’re now growing and
learning more about God. Moreover, some of them are helping me at
Church. I’m so excited to see them growing with God and being
in His future here. I’m also excited to see how God is working
here, and see His blessings and guiding us in different ways.
 We
have church every Sunday at my house which is pretty small. So now
we are praying for a new building because we have more people coming,
and our children’s ministry growing. Currently we have twice
as many children as adults and we all know that Jesus loves His
Children! I would like to encourage you to be a part of this project
(Church building) by prayer, financially support or any suggestions.
We are so excited to see God working and blessing us through brothers
& sisters in Christ, who become one body in Christ to extend
His kingdom. The Christmas party this year will be very special
for the children that I’m working with, because we want to
express God’s love for the kids and their families. So this
year we will have a revival and evangelism in the villages near
mine, and invite them to come and join with us on Dec, 16 2007 for
the party. We will also have many Thai teams along with foreigners
that are coming to help us.
Finally, I would like to thank you for supporting me by your prayers,
financially, and helping in ministry. You are such a huge blessings
for me and always encouraged me and YWAM Krabi. May God bless you
and strengthen you always. For Christmas this year, may love, peace
