Gan Bunmee
- Baan Jai Diaow Staff
 My
name is Suganya Bunmee (my nickname is Gan) and I am 25 years old.
I am from Surin Province and I come from a family of four children.
Before I became a Christian, I was a closed person and felt insecure
about myself. Because of this, I didn't like to meet new people.
It was also hard for me to forgive others.
I became a Christian at House
of One Heart (BJD) which is a student dorm ministry of YWAM
Thailand in Bangkok. I was studying at university and I was impressed
by the love of God that I received at BJD. Everyone was willing
to sacrifice for each other and they were sincere. I also saw how
God changed the lives of many people. This made me open my heart
to get to know God more. Someone at BJD suggested I do a UDTS, which
is a Discipleship
Training School (DTS) of YWAM. I decided to go and it helped
me to get to know God even more.
Since becoming a Christian, God has really changed me. I am much
more confident and I am not afraid to meet new people. Now, I'm
one of the leaders of Baan Jai Diaow working with university students.
When I was young, I dreamed of becoming a teacher. Now, I am able
to teach the Bible to our students living at BJD.
 Last
year, I married Sunya (Pan)
Piawong and changed my name to Gan Piawong. Until recently,
Pan also was on staff at Baan Jai Diaow (House of One Heart - BJD)
but now he is leading a new ministry called Performing
Arts Ministry.
Please pray for both of us to have more wisdom as we work with other
staff members, students and people who are new Christians.
