God first spoke to me about Thailand in 2005 while I was living in Honduras, I did not know anyone living and doing missions in Thailand but prayed that if God wanted me to go I would wait for Him to open the doors and make the way.
The next year I was doing the School of Biblical Studies and met a family who had been working in Southern Thailand and would be going back to work in Phuket as the regional directors. We developed a strong friendship and talked about working together in Phuket. It really did feel like a far off dream, but the more we talked and the more I prayed it seemed it could happen.
I came to Thailand for a visit in 2009 and really felt that God was going to make this home for me. I continued to work in the US for the next two years to get everything in order for moving to Thailand.
DTS is just the first stepping stone to all that God wants to do in Southern Thailand and I am excited to be a part of it, working alongside Thais to reach Thailand.
