Teenagers always seem to have so many questions. It is a time in life when you are trying to find out who you are and who you are going to be. For many teens in Ratchaburi, those answers come mainly from their peers, tv and the internet. There are so many negative role models in the world today – our goal is to help these teens to be able to answer some of the questions for themselves, so that they don’t just end up conforming to the ideals of this world.
The 'Y' spends time with students from 2 faculties at the local university, as well as one of the local high schools on a regular basis. We also run camps for various other high schools in Ratchaburi on occasion. When we have teams of volunteers with us, our students often come and spend time hanging out with the teams, whether it be at the beach or just at one of the local coffee shops. Many of our students’ lives have been touched by meeting and spending time with the volunteers.

Here are some testimonies from some of our high school students:
“From what I studied at school I learnt baout the history of Christianity and what this religion is like. Really all I knew is that there’s God, Jesus and Mary and I felt like it’s all just a theory. But after meeting Noiy, Bronwyn and YWAM teams I felt like it is something that has meaning for everyday life. They would share about things they have encountered and it’s like God is with us all the time.”
“I really like when they would share about the love of God. They didn’t use words but they used songs. Even though I didn’t understand the words I could sense what this love was like. The reason they came was to tell us that God loves us no matter who we are or what country we come from.”
