Pray for YWAM Thailand - July 2009

Ways that you can be praying for YWAM Thailand and Thailand this month

YWAM Thailand National Staff Conference

From August 1-5, we will be having our biannual National Staff Conference in Krabi. It is a time when all the staff in YWAM Thailand come together to worship, pray, rest, have lots of fun and fellowship, and hear from a guest speaker. For some it is a great time where God speaks a lot and works a lot in their lives. For others it is a welcome break from ministry, and a well needed time of rest and relaxation. Some just love it for 4 days of prayer and worship. It is a time where each of us takes something different away, but as a mission here in Thailand we come out of it with a greater sense of unity, of direction and of whatever else God has in store for us. Please be praying for our time together, for everything from the logistics to God touching each of our lives in a special way.

Ongoing tensions on the Thai-Cambodian border

There are ongoing tensions on the border of Thailand and Cambodia, of the disputed land holding the Preah Vihear Temple. It is a dispute that has been resolve many times, and yet the tensions keep flaring up. Please pray for long-term peace and solution for this situation.

Pray for the lonely

Pray for the many people in Thailand that are brought down by a constant feeling of loneliness. Pray that they will find the true source of love and acceptance in God. Pray that they will see their futile attemts to fulfil this need will not satisfy them, and that they will be drawn to God's waiting arms.

As always, invite and allow the Holy Spirit to guide your prayer times. He is the Spirit of Truth, and Jesus promised He would guide us into all Truth. We would appreciate it if you would keep a record of your intercession times, and share a copy with us. Thank you for the part you are playing in making God's Kingdom known.
