from Bangkok, Thailand and the National Office of YWAM Thailand!
 We
are very excited about what God is doing here in the nation of Thailand
as God is drawing the Thai people to himself more and more everyday.
We are also excited that you are considering coming to work with
our various ministries and contacts throughout Thailand. We have
many opportunities for you and your team to serve here in Thailand
whether it be with a local Thai church or with one of our own 35+
YWAM Thailand ministries. If you have a desire to minister to university
students, orphans, prostitutes, the poor and needy, hill-tribe people,
Buddhists, Muslims, refugees, literature distribution, un-reached
people groups, and church planting projects or have skills in teaching
English, drama and the arts, music, etc. YWAM Thailand has a place
for you!
 We
would also like to mention that we can offer assistance as well
as a network of contacts to those teams wanting to visit MYANMAR,
LAOS, VIETNAM, PHILIPPINES, CAMBODIA and CHINA as
a part of their outreach to Thailand. We can also assist you and
your team if you desire to attend the 2008 Olympic Games. For further

In alliance with YWAM International’s 4K initiative, the Outreach
Teams Department has a special opportunity that we ask you and your
team to prayerfully consider taking part in. Since
2000, we have sent 600+ outreach teams to 58 of the 76 provinces
here in Thailand in keeping with our vision of reaching each province
for Christ. Will you come and help us reach the
remaining 18? If your answer is “YES”
then we will send you a list of the remaining 18 provinces for you
to choose from. Your team can then spend a few days (3-5) during
your outreach and help us lay the foundation for new ministries
to develop in these still un-reached parts of Thailand! If you want
to take part in some cutting edge "out there" ministry
as well, check out our new MST Project
as well.
 We
would also like to ask your team to prayerfully consider going to
one (1) ministry location that is waiting to receive their first
outreach team, or have been waiting for a very long time (i.e. 6
months – 2 years) to host another one. If interested,
we can send you a specific list of ministry locations to pray over
(separate from the standard Ministry Opportunities emails).
As a guideline, we usually ask that a team stay in one location
for a minimum of 2-3 weeks to be most effective here on outreach.
Relationships are key to reaching the Thai people and we have found
that many pastors and ministry leaders report that the best thing
for a team is to stay longer in each location. Having said that,
if your team is coming for 2 months, plan on being in 2, maybe 3
locations as there is usually a few days at the start for orientation,
plus the end for some debriefing. For teams coming in on a shorter
trip, we can tailor your outreach to your needs.
 To
begin the process, we would ask that you please take a moment to
fill in this application form and send it back to us along with
any questions you might have. We ask that you do not
contact various ministry locations directly as this will make things
more confusing and bog down the process. We would
also like to take this opportunity to let you know that it is not
uncommon for us to host up to 120+ teams a year. Because of this,
there are times when we will be processing a number of teams at
the same time. We would like to ask for your patience as we prayerfully
consider your teams request (and availability of ministry locations)
to come and minister in Thailand.
We also encourage you to have your team members check out the rest
of our website as it contains helpful info on Thailand and Thai
culture as well as all of our ministries. We believe that everyone
will find it quite interesting!
