National Staff Conference - Day 2

National Staff Conference - Day 2

The first full day of the YWAM Thailand National Conference was full of blessings in many ways.

Phil Porter, YWAM Thailand's National Director spoke on preparing our inheritance that would include leadership development,  preparing a new generation of leaders for this next phase of growth (YWAM Thailand has grown 43% since our last conference two years ago), belonging to one family and tribe and being so connected and networked that we will maximize our fighting for one another.

God is doing a new thing within our YWAM family by connecting us through ministry networks.  YWAM Thailand has grown so large that there are many ministries in different areas that have the same focus, yet are not connected.  Through ministry networks we will be able to support each other, pray for each other, and stand united, as one family walking in obedience to the Father's call.  Today we heard from the Akha Network, Karen Network, Shan Network, Family Network, Media for Outreach Network, Arts Network, and Communications Network.

Nella Davidse shared on the next chapter of the YWAM Thailand story that is yet to be written. God was inviting us to come to His table and be fed afresh by the Holy Spirit, fresh food that will prepare us for this next stage of growth and development.

We entered into a powerful time of worship and prayer as we accepted Jesus' invitation to receive spiritual nourishment from him.  God led us through a time of praying for one another and especially lifting up the first generation Thai Christians in our family.  The evening ended in a time of joyful celebration as we danced and sang before the Lord, praising him and thanking him for being our faithful, and generous father.
