Full Life Development
Full
Life Development (FLD) is a community development ministry
based in northern Thailand. We apply the Community Health
Evangelism (CHE) strategy to meet the physical, spiritual,
emotional, and social needs of individuals and entire communities.
FLD primarily works with minority peoples who are economically
and politically disadvantaged; most are refugees from Burma
(Myanmar) who have resettled in Thailand. Almost all are unreached
by the Gospel.
Started in 2005 by Nathan and Bethany Scott, missionaries
to Thailand since 2003, Full Life Development currently has
two national trainers and will soon bring on two more. FLD
ministry includes:
- National training team works with a local government health center to train village health volunteers
-
National training team works alongside the local church
- Nathan
& Bethany train church planters from a neighboring country
- FLD Team trains Lahu hilltribe ministry leaders in community
health evangelism
