 Discipleship
Training Schools aim to prepare messengers of the Gospel, helping
people to know God in depth. The goal is to form Christian character
while establishing Biblical relationships between the student and
God, and between the student and his family and friends. (Class
of 2008 pictured on right)
The emphasis is on developing a daily walk with God rather than
to accumulate information. This program consists of three months
of classroom teaching and three months in active evangelism in a
cross cultural setting.  The
DTS has become the starting point for Youth With A Mission in preparing
messangers of the Gospel. The DTS examines the Character and Nature
of God and how our relationships with Him affect our lifestyle and
the way we relate to those around us.
Through visiting speakers and a live-in training environment, the
DTS challanges students to get to know God intimately. The DTS takes
the student beyond the lecture hall and into real life evangelism
and discipleship situations where the principles can be applied
and tested.
The motto of Youth With A Mission is: To Know God and to Make
Him Known. This is the purpose of the DTS.
Our
next Bilingual (Thai/English) school in Chiang Rai, will begin in
January 2009 at the Chiang Rai Training Center.
