Welcome
to our new Chiang Rai Campus Ministries page!
Our purpose is to make disciples among the student community of
Chiang Rai. To help young Thai Christians grow in their relationships
with Christ and equip believers to serve others with their gifts
and talents as they participate in the fulfillment of the great
Commission, giving glory to God in everything they do. We are committed
to provide opportunities for discipleship, corporate worship, fellowship
and outreach.
The programs that we are running:

Weekly
small group Bible studies

church (weekly worship service & message on Sunday morning)

Counseling/inner
healing offered for believers.

Evangelistic
camps (in connection with hosting short term teams)

Exposure
trips for students. (Visiting children homes, other ministries,
etc.)

Our
Church |
Over the 3 and
a half years that we’ve been involved in evangelism and discipleship,
we have seen a lot of fruit. And though students have asked us to
start a church before, until lately we didn’t seriously consider
it. As we have come to view it, the natural outcome of evangelism
and discipleship is a body of believers, which is a church. We believe
that it is time for us to be a church for our students. We started
meeting together near the end of August on Sunday mornings at our
home, it has been going very well and there are about 10-20 people
who come. Most of our members are the students that we have been
discipling. The name of our church is “Ga Tom Nhun
Jai” (Shelter of Encouragement).
New
Staff
May
(pictured to the right) graduated last year from Mae Fah Luang University
and attended a Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Montana. She
finished her DTS and is answering the call to serve God full time
in this campus ministry which she was saved through. We are greatly
in need of staff, so we truly thank God for May and for answering
the prayers regarding our need for staff.
Outreach Teams
If you are interested in bringing an outreach team to work with
Chiang Rai Campus Ministries or any other ministry in Chiang Rai,
please first contact the Outreach Teams Department at the National
Office in Bangkok. Let them know that your desire is to minister
in Chiang Rai, and they will connect you with the ministries in
Chiang Rai.
