Chiang Mai SBS
On Saturday, June 21, 2009, the Chiang Mai SBS class had its graduation ceremony at TLC Center in Chiang Mai, where the school was held. All 6 students graduated (a 70% grade average is required) and it was a wonderful time of celebrating their hard work over the previous 4 months. Even though the work was intense and very challenging at times, everyone would agree that the school was worth every minute. Lives and hearts were changed, friendships were made and strengthened, and most importantly, God was glorified.
Next School starts March 1, 2010 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The purpose of School of Biblical Studies (SBS) is to help our students to have a solid biblical foundation that will guide them in every area of their lives. We believe that once people have a strong biblical foundation, their ministries, marriage, finance, counseling, etc. will be guided by God’s word. And that leads to effectiveness and to God’s glory.
In
this program students will study every book of the New Testament
using the inductive method of Bible study.Our goal is for students
to grasp the message of each book of the New Testament and, as well,
the big picture of the whole New Testament.
In the SBS each student spends about 6-8 hours of study
per day. It is a lot of work but the result is well worth
it…a solid Biblical foundation for life and ministry.
Gade’s testimony
I'm Gade Rammasoon, and I come from Phangnga. I've been serving with YWAM Thailand for seven years since 2002, and I want to learn more about God's word. I was interested to do the School of Biblical Studies since 2004, and God answered my prayer by leading me to do this school in 2009. Throughout the four months of school, I got to learn God's heart for his people, for I've seen that the Holy Spirit inspired Paul, Peter, Luke, John, Matthew and other writers to write to his people while they were facing hard situations. I learned that God won't ignore our needs, in order to grow in love for him. God worked in me in the area of forgiveness and grace through the books of Philemon and Galatians. Moreover, I realized that I don't have to be a great teacher or leader to serve God, because Christ is the only one whom I should lift up as my leader in every aspect of my life. My school is now over, but my studying will never end, so I continue to learn from the timeless truth in God's word. I give thanks to God for the opportunity to take time for the School of Biblical Studies and learn His word.
Au’s testimony
I thank God for SBS, because it helped me to know Him more through studying His word. It helped me to know the truth, have the right understanding on each book of the New Testament, and apply the truth to my life. Now I know that God is love. He is gracious to me and everyone.
SBS gave me a heart to teach the Bible to college students and to the teenagers I currently am mentoring. I believe understanding the truth will produce in them godly living. I believe God’s love will make them want to change the way they live.
