The 2008 Chiang
Mai SBS is already more than half finished! The students have already
completed sixteen books in the New Testament, but still have eleven
more to go. The nine Thai students have been working so hard, and
it is evident that God is continually speaking to their hearts through
his word. God has blessed the school so much with a strong sense
of family and unity among the nine students and four staff. Please
pray for the students and staff as they continue to study, teach,
and learn, that God will speak personally to each heart and draw
each person into a closer relationship with him.
The
purpose of School of Biblical Studies (SBS) is to help our students
to have a solid biblical foundation that will guide them in every
area of their lives. We believe that once people have a strong biblical
foundation, their ministries, marriage, finance, counseling, etc.
will be guided by God’s word. And that leads to effectiveness
and to God’s glory.
In
this program students will study every book of the New Testament
using the inductive method of Bible study.Our goal is for students
to grasp the message of each book of the New Testament and, as well,
the big picture of the whole New Testament.
In the SBS each student spends about 6-8 hours of study
per day. It is a lot of work but the result is well worth
it…a solid Biblical foundation for life and ministry.

School Testimony - Meet Wor
 Hi!
I am Wor and I am so glad that I can share a little of my story
about how good God is to me. He opened a door for me to come study
in SBS. Before that, I was on staff at The Centre, a Christian organization
that evangelizes through teaching English to university students.
God was so good to me to bring me to study SBS. SBS has been very
meaningful to me ever since I started. I have learned a lot- I understand
myself more and who I am in Christ. It is so good that I can understand
God’s heart more, how much he loves me and his people. I have
had a personal experience with God in each book. God has taught
me how I can live my life in this world with the truth and how I
can be happy and love people more. When I finish this class I have
a heart to share the truth of God and how good God is to us, to
the kids and young people. I want to see them grow up in the truth
of God so that they can live a good life and be happy in God as
I am now. I hope that what God has done in my life can encourage
all of you, and I want to encourage all of you to hold on to the
truth of God every day and live your life following the word of
God- it is so worth it!
