A ministry of Project L.I.F.E.
To
the poor in Thailand, education is the way out of the poverty cycle.
But how can a family that has barely enough to eat, send their children
to school? Project L.I.F.E.'s Child Sponsorship Program is there
to help, providing funds, counseling and general support to needy
children in Bangkok slums and poor rural villages. Working hand-in-hand
with 10 churches, 16 schools, 2 hostels and 9 communities, the Child
Sponsorship now helps over 650 families in 7 provinces throughout
Thailand. We have a total of seven staff with six working in Bangkok
and one located in our new office in Buriram, Northeast Thailand.
Child Sponsorship Program is Making a Difference - Soidao's Story
Sometimes
you might not think of that backyard garden behind your house as
a magnificent source of food for a needy family? Or you might not
think about the food left on your plate at the end of your meal
time as being as much as entire family's income.
Soidao and her grandmother (right) live alone with barely enough money for food. Soidao’s parents passed away when she was just a young girl. Soidao’s grandmother is an old women and does her best to take care of her because she loves her very much. The first time we met this family Soidao and her grandmother looked very sad and unhappy as life was so difficult on so many levels.
After
joining our sponsorship program, we noticed a huge change in both
of them. We can see that their lives have been forever changed and
they have life in their eyes now. All because someone took the time
to care about them and help them in their time of need. Our field
staff visit them every month and not only see how they are doing
but share God’s love with them. Thanks to people like you
who take the time to care, you are changing lives through our sponsorship
program - lives like Soidao and her grandmother.
How can people sponsor a child or get involved with CSP?
The best way to get involved is to contact us directly via our website or e-mail. We can then share more about our various programs and we can also help an individual to begin sponsoring a child if that is their desire. In addition, we are looking for people who can assist us financially with our large Christmas parties for our children at each location and for the various camps we run each year.

- Public Relations Staff
- Follow up staff for English sponsors
- Fund raisers
- One of our greatest needs is for financial partners for our Thai office staff since we are a ministry made up of volunteers who must raise their own support. If we don't have our office staff, we cannot run our programs. Another immediate need we have is for a vehicle to aid us in visiting the children at the various locations.
